EYEs BLUEs 2025
Výstavný projekt je voľným pokračovaním cyklu Oko do duše srdca 2024 v kyanotypickom prevedení.
Spracúva problematiku vzhľadu a významu ľudského oka, ktoré odráža stav mysle a emócií, je zrkadlom našich duší, a tak reprezentuje náš vlastný i nekonečný vesmír. Okrem emocionálnych a estetických kvalít oka je možné z jeho obrazu dokonca diagnostikovať a liečiť choroby tela.
Inštalácia predstavuje oči priateľov a blízkych, ktoré sú súčasťou osobnej histórie autorky. Sú uzavreté v kruhoch, ktoré symbolizujú pôvod života, nekonečno bez začiatku a konca. Predstavujú tak vesmír, boha, dobro a jednotu v tak jednoduchom tvare ako je kruh.
Pri technike kyanotypia, ktorou diela vznikli, sa na vytvorenie obrazu používa niekoľkominútové priame slnečné svetlo a vyvolávanie modrého obrazu v odtieni parížskej modrej prebieha za pomoci nič jednoduchšieho ako životodárnej zlúčeniny H2O, čo ešte väčšmi podporuje myšlienku života, jednoty a vesmíru, ktorého sme neoddeliteľnou súčasťou, v spirituálnom modrom blues, ktoré spoločne žijeme.
/The exhibition project is a loose continuation of the series Eye to the Soul of the Heart 2024, executed in cyanotype. It explores the appearance and significance of the human eye, which reflects our state of mind and emotions, serves as a mirror to our souls, and thus represents both our internal and the infinite universe. Beyond the eye's emotional and aesthetic qualities, its image can even be used to diagnose and treat physical ailments.
The installation features the eyes of friends and loved ones who are part of the artist's personal history. They are enclosed within circles, symbolizing the origin of life and infinity without beginning or end. In a shape as simple as a circle, they represent the universe, divinity, goodness, and unity.
In the cyanotype technique used to create these works, several minutes of direct sunlight are required to form the image. The development of the blue image—in a shade of Prussian Blue—takes place using nothing more complex than the life-giving compound H2O. This further reinforces the ideas of life, unity, and the universe, of which we are an inseparable part, within the spiritual "blue blues" that we live together.
